Carol Skyhawk ID’d as Woman Injured in High Forest Township Crash on Highway 63
High Forest Township, Minnesota (April 9, 2020) – The woman who was injured Thursday afternoon in a traffic accident involving an SUV and a pickup truck in High Forest Township has been identified as Carol Ann Skyhawk, 63 of Stewartville.
The crash took place at about 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2 on Highway 63 at the Olmsted/Mower county line, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The state patrol said Skyhawk was driving an SUV southbound on Highway 63 when she made a left turn onto a county road and was rear-ended by a pickup operated by Andrew James Eddy Bruss, 28 of Siren, Wisconsin.
Skyhawk suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. Bruss was uninjured.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the collision.
The crash is still under investigation.
